Schrader Tackles Wieland Winternationals at Golden Isles

Ken Schrader stayed busy this past week, pulling double duty at Georgia’s Golden Isles Speedway during the Wieland Winternationals.

Schrader opened the Crown Vic portion of the event with a sixth-place finish on Wednesday and followed with a 14th-place outing on Thursday. He also added a 602 Late Model to the lineup that evening, qualifying for the feature before retiring on the opening lap with mechanical issues.

The problems persisted into Friday, ultimately forcing Schrader to park the 602 Late Model for the remainder of the weekend and shift his focus back to the Crown Vic.

A fifth-place finish in Friday night’s B-Feature brought Schrader’s weekend to a close.
