Ken Schrader Wins at Central Arizona Raceway
The closing four rounds of the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout delivered a mix of highs and lows for NASCAR Hall of Famer Ken Schrader at Central Arizona Raceway.
Schrader opened the stretch by winning his heat race on Wednesday before seeing his night end early after being tipped onto his side in the feature.
He rebounded on Friday with a 13th-place finish, then turned in his strongest performance of the week on Saturday. Charging from seventh to the lead, Schrader claimed a $1,000 victory in the 25-lap feature.
Schrader wrapped up the 20th annual Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout on Sunday with a 14th-place result.
