Live from Eldora Speedway on Pay-Per-View - June 9th, 7PM Eastern
Prelude to the Dream 2010
The 2010 event format has changed and will now be team-driven. There will be four teams, and each will represent one of the above four children’s hospitals. Each individual driver’s finishing position in the feature event will contribute to each team’s total score. An individual champion will also be crowned.
Kenny is on Team St Jude.

If you can't get there to see the race live... (and ssssoooooooooooo worth it if you can get there in person)... just a reminder... you can still watch it as it happens... PPV... check your local stations... (details above in Henry's thread) and is $24.99...and again... ssssooooooooooooo worth it!!!

I am going to this track for the first time from my home in Michigan and just want to know if there is anything I should know or pack or whatever. I have never been to this kind of race before and I know that I am in for a TREAT! Thanks.

| You’re going to have a blast. The atmosphere at this track is the best in my opinion then any other dirt track. Have FUN!!! |

Jodi... you will have a grand time! When you say you are to the Dream, you are referring to the Prelude on Wednesday night 6/9? The Dream Races are on Friday/Saturday. (Kenny has not raced the Dream weekend in the past.)
Make sure you pack your great supportive walking shoes (lots to see & haulers to visit)
Make sure you pack a VERY comfy seat cushion - seats are concrete and no back rest. Oh...and binoculars and of course camera (extra batteries) and/or camcorder.
Make sure you pack a ton of patience - especially when leaving after the race. As you can imagine... the traffic is massive.
Make sure you potty before you leave the track... (the track is in the hicks). Our hotel was less than 10 miles away from the track... took about 2 hours to get back!
Know that you will NOT get to see Kenny nor any driver up-close and personal... only on the track -- they are in a secluded area.
Have a great time!! |

Yes, I am going to the Prelude to the Dream on Wednesday. I know that I won't see anyone up close. Thanks for the info. I will be sure to pack comfy seats. I know that I won't get back home until around 3 or 4 in the morning (Thursday) and I will be SURE to use the bathroom before we leave the track. Very important. I know that we have excellent seats in turn 1 and that no one will be sitting in front of us so there will be extra room there also. I believe we are in row 13 seats 7,8 and 9. Very excited!!!!

| I know that Kenny is running the Prelude, but he isn't on the entry list for the Dream on the 11th and the 12th. Is he for sure running it? |
