Career Highlights:

1983 Worked for Alan Kulwicki on his ASA car in Milwaukee, Wis.

1985 Went to work for fellow Owensboro native Darrell Waltrip

1988 Moved to NASCAR Cup Racing, working for Whitcomb Racing, and then moving to SABCO Racing, where he served as Gary Nelson’s right hand man for the next three seasons

1992 – 1994 Crew Chief for Kenny Bernstein’s NASCAR Cup team with driver Brett Bodine

1995 Crew Chief for Jeff Burton and the #8 NASCAR Cup team at Stavola Brothers Racing

1996 – 1998 Crew Chief for Brett Bodine Racing, #11 NASCAR Cup team with driver Brett Bodine

1998 Joined Cicci-Welliver Racing – a three-car Busch Series team – a third of the way through the season.  In five years with Cicci-Welliver Racing, Richeson worked with five different drivers and was a contender for the Bush Series championship in 2000 with driver Todd Bodine.

2000 Scored his first career win at Michigan International Speedway

2004 Instrumental in moving Schrader Racing, Inc. from its original location on Windy Road in Concord, N.C. to its current shop on Stough Road in Concord, N.C.

Has served as crew chief in four different series at Schrader Racing, Inc. – the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, The Grand National West Series, the Southwest Series and the ARCA Series.

To date Richeson has 11 wins to his credit for the Schrader Racing team – in both the NASCAR and ARCA arenas

2006 At DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, after years of attending and competing in races at the track, Ken Schrader won twice in one day – Richeson served as crew chief for the ARCA victory while Joey Walsh served as crew chief for the Late Model win

2011 marked his eighth season at Schrader Racing, Inc., serving as Director of Competition for the team’s full season of ARCA competition

2012 begins Richeson’s ninth year with Schrader Racing, Inc., serving as both Director of Competition and Crew Chief for the team’s limited ARCA schedule
